ConectIn vs alternatives

By Rodrigo Alonso · A project by Rodrigo Alonso · Updated 28 October 2026

There are several ways to grow your LinkedIn network: by hand, with LinkedIn’s paid tools or with third-party tools. This comparison explains what each option does so you can pick the one that suits you.

Third-party details checked on their official websites on 28 October 2026. Prices and features may change; always check each tool’s website.

What ConectIn is, and what it isn’t

ConectIn is a Chrome extension with a single job: sending connection invitations for you to the audience you choose (industry, companies or job title, plus location), only to active people with 500+ connections. It prepares batches that you approve before anything is sent, and sends them at a steady pace. It shows you who accepts, by source and by company, withdraws old pending invitations and exports to CSV.

ConectIn does not send messages or follow-up sequences, doesn’t run email campaigns and doesn’t integrate with CRMs. If you need that, other tools are a better fit.

The options, one by one

Doing it by hand

Free and fully under your control, but time-consuming: searching, checking each profile and clicking “Connect” one by one.

LinkedIn Sales Navigator

LinkedIn’s own paid product, with advanced search and filters for finding prospects. It helps you find who to invite, but you do the sending.

Waalaxy

According to its website, a LinkedIn and email prospecting tool: it sends invitations, messages and follow-ups, integrates with CRMs such as HubSpot or Pipedrive and offers a 14-day free trial.

Dux-Soup

According to its website, it offers step-by-step LinkedIn messaging campaigns with AI personalisation, in a version that runs on your computer (desktop app for Mac and Windows, from USD 55/month) and a cloud version (from USD 99/month).

Expandi

According to its website, a cloud platform for sales teams, agencies and recruiters, with LinkedIn and email sequences, and a USD 99 monthly plan with a 7-day free trial.

When is ConectIn a good fit?

When is another option a better fit?

One thing that applies to all of them

LinkedIn’s user agreement doesn’t allow third-party software to act on your account. Any tool of this kind carries a risk that LinkedIn limits or restricts your account, and complying with its terms is the user’s responsibility.

Want to invite your audience without spending hours on it? ConectIn prepares batches of invitations for the audience you choose; you approve them and it sends them at a steady pace, only to active people with 500+ connections. USD 19/month.
